stress counselling worthing #01As You Are is a new organisation providing low-cost counselling and group work for depression, stress and anxiety for people living in Brighton, Hove, Portslade, Southwick, Shoreham, Lancing and Worthing.

Some of the issues we work with include:

The centre incorporates the team from Here & Now Counselling and new counsellors. Over the last 9 years we built up a reputation and have been recommended by GPs, agencies and by word of mouth. As You Are continues to provide low-cost counselling for people experiencing depression, stress and anxiety and will run groups, workshops, training days and a pet bereavement service.

Help! with votes from The Argus:

The Argus and Barclays Money Skills is offering an amazing total of £10,000 to give away to support three groups within our local community, as voted for by you. There will be a first prize of £5,000, a second prize of £3,000 and a third of £2,000. The cash awards are available to any Sussex based community group, school, charity, project or other organization and the prizes can be used for any purpose.

On Tuesday, November 3, Wednesday, November 4 and Thursday, November 5 the full list of groups will be printed in The Argus. Along with this list and every day until Wednesday December 2 a “vote token” will be printed in The Argus. Please collect “votes” for the groups you would like to win and send these directly to the group (please do not send your vote tokens to The Argus). The three groups with the most votes will win the cash prizes.The three winning organizations will be printed in The Argus on Wednesday December 16.

As You Are have applied to this scheme and the winning groups are those that collect the most 'votes' and submit them to the Argus by Wednesday 9 December. 'Votes' will be printed in the Argus every day from today, Tuesday 3 November until Wednesday 2 December.

If you are able to help us with collecting as many 'votes' as possible, then please cut them out and either drop them off at the centre or post them to us. We would be most grateful as funding is very much needed in order to keep our service running.
